I have to admit, I have been seeing the denim on denim trend a lot lately and I have to say, I’m all about it. From frayed denim Levi’s to floral embroidery on 7 for All Mankind, denim on denim is making a huge comeback. I’ve noticed that for Spring, there’s certainly some excitement about denim combined with different shades of denim, mix and matched with floral prints, and have lots of fray, rips or embroidery. I am personally loving the lighter denim with a fringed hem that I spotted last weekend, and need to get my hands on a pair.

My friend, Sydney Izen, who was a few years younger than me at my high school, Dana Hall in Wellesley, started her own company called Unemployed Denim. It’s amazing, and I’m so proud someone from my high school that took the drive to start her own company and is actually killing it. She was recently interviewed on the Refinery 29 Beauty’s live video on Facebook.

If you’re adding one pair of shoes to your closet this season, make sure it’s a pair of slide-on shoes. They are easy to slip on and off when you’re at a friend’s house or in a rush to get out the door, plus they will give you instant style.
Here are some of my favorite finds from Levi’s. You can never really go wrong with Levi’s. Chiara Ferragni makes her ripped denim on denim look so effortlessly chic over her floral dress.

Denim never goes out of style, and right now, it’s everywhere especially with the rips, frays, embroidery and customized wording on it. Go out and find your favorite because we all know it’s all about that fit, feel and rugged yet flirty look.
