Blush is Blowing UP

The amount of time we are seeing blush everywhere during NY fashion week and to London and Milan is amazing. For one, it is one of my favorite colors to wear and two, it is a perfect excuse to mix in a little spring/pastel colors for fall. I hate the orange, dark brown, and autumn colors that are expected to be worn once fall hits, so this blush trend I’m definitely down with.

Fashion blogger Chiara Ferragni of the Blonde Salad, is killing it with this look she wore during Milan Fashion Week: blush velvet Gianvito Rossi ankle booties and an amazing silk  Acne Studiosbomber jacket.

Obsessed! And the floral embroidered dress reminds me of a fairy dress, so cute.

This feminine style of blush with floral embroidery and velvet is really hot right now for fall! I think it can really mix into the holiday style too with some pretty lace tights and more blush bombers and trenches. Enough with the dark pumpkin colors of fall and up with the newer pastels of whites and blush! It’s never a crime in fashion to wear white after Labor Day! 🙂

Some more blush looks from Fall Fashion Week:

Love the silks, ruffles and florals here

White on blush with silk purses

I love the ruffles and romance of the bags, floral skirts and dresses with lace. The beautiful styles above are from the collaboration of K-Way® and the brand N°21. Very chic, feminine, flirty, and again fairy-like – always a favorite.

Can’t wait to pull these looks off for fall. First purchase will be definitely something velvet in blush like Chiara’s cute, flirty heeled booties.
